“Our statistics on innovation activity is not developed yet...”

Today statistics and its methods in Russia are undergoing drastic changes. It isn’t happening as fast as we would like to, but still we can talk about some shifts in statistics science. In the beginning of 90’s the statistics science in Russia has already been changed according to OECD and EU standards.

В. КиселевAt the same time innovation statistics is not developed yet. We are guided here by the OECD recommendations. Right now there are still some difficulties in correlation when we compare the results of innovation activity in Russia and the results in European Union. In is crucial to decide upon criteria, whether we are going to use international standards or our own invented ones. There is one uniform system used all over the world. I believe that in our research we should also refer to the same standards. So, I would like to discuss this particular issue during the XIIIth Tomsk Innovation Forum.
