Art-project “Techno-opera "second shift " is timed to the 70th Anniversary of Tomsk company Sibelektromotor, JSC. The goal of the project is to ruin the stereotype attitude to Russian engineering industry, emphasize the connection between tradition and innovation by turning the plant into artistic environment for a couple of hours.

The organizers will try to comprehend the process of motors production in the context of contemporary art, and benches, mechanisms and details will be viewed as some art objects. When the working day of the shop is over the workstations will be transformed into an exhibition and concert ground and the next day- back to normal.

The musical part of the program will bring together the following performers: «Nuclear Los" (Novosibirsk), press machine Schuler A2-200 (Germany), press C-116B (Russia), dance group «Freakadelika» (Tomsk).

The exhibition of paintings and drawings and installations of the brightest representatives of the Siberian avant-garde (Andrey Kurchenko and others) will also be organized during the event. All the guests are welcome to take part in the art pipeline.
