Roundtable discussion «Ecological standards as the driver for the innovative economy»
Goal: to develop a consistent roadmap for assessing needs of business — in the first place, a large business with foreign capital — in R&D provided by the Russian scientific and educational complex with consideration of changing environmental legislation (introduction of industries listings with the best available technologies and technological norms altering requirements to general manufacturing).
Issues and topics for discussion:
- How does the interaction of university, business and government change when the best available technologies (BAT) listings and technological norms appear?
- BAT listings as a general coordinating mechanism for R&D orders: forming specifications of requirements by large business for university R&D.
- Large companies as the moving force for BAT listings development: does the business need new R&D from universities?
- Changing legislation and ecological standards compliance: conditions of technological modernization and access to «cheap money».
