The club is devoted to goals and objectives of the Strategy for the Innovative Development of the Russian Federation until 2020 and driving forces of the knowledge-based economy. Adoption of this Strategy demands that actors in the innovation process look at the launch of the knowledge-based economy from the new perspective and redefine the role of the federal center, regions (especially innovative ones), development facilitators, businesses, research organizations and universities, and international partners.
