True research and technology innovations are impossible without qualified scientists and engineers who can create globally competitive products. Unfortunately, in Russia there is no call for highly qualified professionals in science and high-tech.
How can the Russian university science be internationalized? Or how can Russian universities join the international research networks?
Integration of the Russian universities and research organizations into the global space of research, technology and education will highlight the true state of science and education in Russia and will automatically provide an answer to the question about what needs to be changed. Participation of the Russian universities and organizations in international research and technology projects in the Russian territory represents one of the most efficient ways of ensuring such integration. Owing to these projects, advanced forms of management, organization and funding, as well as personnel and technology exchange would be mastered.
What is the place of Russia in Mega Science?
Russia will take a well-deserved position in the international division of labor in research, high-tech and higher education, when it becomes profitable and honorable to be a highly qualified professional, a competent and well-educated person with skillful hands and brilliant mind.
